Thank to those who attended our AGM and Public Meeting. For those who attended our meeting we had a great speech by Eric Martin who gave us a lot to think about for our future. We will provide a summary in our next newsletter.
There will be lots of ways you will be able to assist us from helping recruit members, to organising events to collecting people’s memories and we will be calling for volunteers shortly.

Survey on the future of Manuka Oval and nearby precincts
Please share your thoughts! A Community Panel will soon be set up to plan Manuka Oval and the surrounding area. It is vital we have your views about this important area so we can accurately and strongly inform the ACT government. The survey is at the link below – please feel free to share this with your networks.
Craft Your Park
Last Friday Minister Fitzharris announced that Telopea Park will be part of the Craft Your Park.
This means Telopea Park will be given a natural play space that will be designed by Group GSA, Cia Landscapes and Colour, and Ric McConaghy in consultation with the community.
The project has a budget of $100k and has a very short delivery time. The designs need to be in by 16 December so we encourage you to engage however you can with the project.
The project will run parallel with the Master Plan for the Manuka Oval Precinct so we want to try and ensure it fits into the bigger concept and helps link the current playground with Manuka Pool.
